Stop and search should be a police operational matter that politicians should not interfere with. However, two-tier policing is a disgrace and must end immediately. Every citizen must be treated equally under the law - that’s a fundamental British value. Part of the problem is politically-correct training programmes in the police forces - some police forces have become "institutionally woke".
Cannabis should be legalised because it is less harmful than alcohol, and because every hour spent by police on cannabis-related matters is one hour that they can’t spend on investigating burglaries and other crimes.
