Housing - locally and nationally

The country as a whole needs more housing of every type. While more aggressively reducing net migration would help ease the pressure on housing somewhat, we need to tackle both problems simultaneously. Otherwise, due to high housing costs, many people will conclude that they cannot afford to have as many children as they would ideally like to have - or any at all.

I would support the planned Tendring Colchester Borders Garden Community, which was discussed by Nigel Farage in Parliament because it is planned for the nextdoor constituency - provided that the link road is delivered as planned, and the promised new GP surgeries and schools are delivered early on in the process. GP surgeries in Tendring are already stretched.
